Dr Festus Ojagbemi - MB BS (Benin 1987)
Festus Ojagbemi qualified from the Benin School of
Medicine in Benin City, Nigeria in 1987 and he has been working in England since 1992. After gaining
experience in various hospital posts, Dr Ojagbemi joined the vocational training scheme for general
practice in Dartford and spent a year in a GP training practice in Longfield before joining the
practice in 2001. He is the partner in charge of child health, hypertension and heart clinics. |

Dr Tunde Oshinusi - MB ChB (1994)
Tunde Oshinusi qualified in Nigeria in 1994. He worked in
various hospital posts all over England before completing his GP training in Medway. He joined the
practice in 2003. Outside interests include motor racing, football and music. He is married with two
children. |

Dr Kavita Pancholi - MBBS MS MRCOG MRCGP (1996)
Kavita Pancholi graduated in India, having specialised in
obstetrics and gynaecology. She practised obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility in UK hospitals for several
years and attained membership of the Royal College of Gynaecologists in 1996. She completed her GP
training at Maidstone and attained the membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2004.
She is married to a surgeon and has two children. She joined the practice in 2006. |

Dr Ihtesham Sabri - MBBS (male) (Lon), MRCGP, RCGP1
Ihtesham Sabri went to school at the famous Dulwich College and left in 1996 as the President of the Union. He went on to St.George's Medical school and qualified as a Doctor in 2001. He is a GP Tutor for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Deanery and a GP with special interest in Mental Health. He also founded the MDA and featured on the Health Show on SKY. |
TRAINING PRACTICE
St Marys is a training practice. We have junior doctors (FY2) attached to the practice for some months throughout the year, and ST3 senior doctors in their last year of GP training for a year, we aswell as final year medical students for five weeks in the practice as observers and working under supervision.
RECEPTIONISTS
Our receptionists do a difficult
job very well. Please remember that if you do need to be kept waiting or seem
to be asked one or two irritating questions, they are only carrying out our instructions
to them to help the practice run smoothly. They try to keep both the doctors and
the patients happy! This is not easy - please be patient!
PRACTICE MANAGER
Cathy Stocking, our practice manager, has been a member of the team for the past seven years

PRACTICE NURSE TEAM
Debra Smart RGN holds surgeries by
appointment. A qualified nurse prescriber, Debra is available for health advice and screening, women’s health problems eg contraception and
cervical smears, management of minor illness, travel immunisations and stable chronic disease such as coronary
heart disease review, diabetes review, and warfarin monitoring clinics.
Sue Walker holds surgeries by appointment and is
available for health checks, ear syringing, cervical smears, ECGs, travel immunisations, smoking cessation advice,
asthma and COPD clinics, family planning and HRT.
Angela Cornell is our triage nurse but also holds
surgeries by appointment. A qualified nurse prescriber Angela is available for cervical smears, travel and general immunisations, minor
illnesses and health checks for patients with mental disabilities.
Karen Cherry
is a health care assistant who holds surgeries by appointment. She is available for screening, new
registration checks, well person checks, ECGs, spirometry, blood pressure checks, suture removal, some
dressings, phlebotomy and baby clinics.
COMMUNITY NURSES (District Nurses)
Patients who are confined to their homes and who need nursing assistance may arrange with their doctors for a community nurse - Jackie Robson and HCA Hayley Hempstead - to call. The hospital will normally arrange for a nurse to call on patients discharged early and who still require nursing treatment at home. The community nurses also carry out assessments on our patients over 75 years old who are housebound.
